Globalisation Paragraph

Globalisation is basically, a process of expanding trade and commerce all over the world by creating borderless market. However, it is creating more opportunities for capitalist countries rather than for the developing ones. In the name of help and co-operation, the industrially developed capitalist countries are exploiting the cheap labour available in poor countries. This is the common fear about the adverse effects of globalisation in the countries like ours. But, the fear is not quite justified because globalisation has also a far-reaching effect on many aspects of life. With the developing of hi-tech communication media and rapid transportation facilities the world has come closer. We can share our joys and behaviour into our homes through satellite television channels and the internet. Now, we can enrich our local culture through constant interaction of different cultures. But, along with this, the cultural assault can also be resisted by the strength of our own traditional social values, beliefs and attitudes.

Globalization means spreading something worldwide. It is a process of making the countries of the world interconnected for free movement of goods, service, people and information worldwide. Nowadays, the world has come closer with the development of hi-tech communication media and rapid transportation. We can now learn instantly what is happening in the remotest corner of the world.

We are now able to visit to any country in the shortest possible time. Thus the countries of the world are like families in a village. However, there are advantages and disadvantages of globalization. As a result of globalization, capitalist countries are getting more facilities than than the poor countries. Capitalist countries can use labour of poor countries at cheaper cost. So some people say that Globalization has come to protect only the interest of the developed countries.

Globalization integrates a global economy that influence on both economic and social relations among the countries of the world. The poorer and developing countries should ensure good governance, efficient management and investment in infrastructure so that globalization works in favour of them. Otherwise they will be exploited by the capitalist countries.

If Globalization is imposed on a properly educated and trained labour force in an appropriate system it will lead to development and progress. If the developed and developing nations work together on terms of solidarity, equity and justice the process of Globalization will make the world a better place.

Globalization paragraph for HSC

Globalization basically refers to the expansion of trade and commerce between all countries but now it has encompassed many other spheres of life. People can now travel anywhere facing fewer immigration barriers and can communicate with anyone staying anywhere within seconds. People of the world have come so close to each other that they live like families of a global village.

They are like next-door neighbors. Globalization has helped capitalist countries by providing a global market while people of the developing countries are getting jobs in these countries.

The latest information technology and improved transport have made the process of globalization faster. Globalization has many advantages. People can easily reach out for help and co-operation from people all over the world. They can learn about the latest scientific, medical and technological progress in any part of the world and avail of these facilities.

They can work together for a better world. On the other hand, many people believe that globalization is a threat to national cultural identity because different cultures are interacting and creating a global culture although it is not an unmixed blessing. If globalization is compared to a ship, the developed countries are on the upper deck while the underdeveloped ones are on the lower deck with extremely inadequate food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, education, recreation or any other necessity.
